Three miscreants were on Wednesday arrested for creating a ruckus at the Narmada hospital here on Tuesday. The three, along with some others, had tried to enter the hospital premises by force to visit a patient and manhandled the security guards and hospital staff.
According to the police, Mukhtar Malik along with his supporters had gone to meet Aslam who was attacked and was shot at few days earlier near Apsara talkies area. Aslam was undergoing treatment at the ICU of the Narmada hospital and was discharged a few days ago but after reporting pain he was again admitted on Tuesday.
When Mukhtar Malik reached the hospital in the evening and wanted to see the patient, an employee, Ajay, told him that only one visitor at a time is allowed which angered the miscreants and one of them threatened the hospital employee with a pistol. The staff informed the matter to the Habibganj police. A police team was rushed to the spot but before they could nab the miscreants they managed to escape.
The police later registered a case under Sections 147,148,149,294 and 506 of the IPC against the miscreants who have been identified as Mukhtar Malik, Bablu Chambal, Shadab, Anjum, Ashraf and Sajid. Of them, Bablu Chambal, Ashraf and Sajid have since been arrested and the others are at large.
