Three people including a woman were on Thursday booked for duping a Delhi based person for facilitating a medical seat in private college for Rs 21 lakh.
In the complaint, the victim Modeshwar Aiyappa claimed that he was willing for his son to get admitted in medical college and he was contacted by a woman in October, last year. She told that she would facilitate a medical seat in private medical college at a premium of Rs 21 lakh but after providing money no one contacted the victim after which, he lodged a complaint with the police.
The police have registered a case under section 420 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
