A 27-year-old woman was sexually exploited for the past one and a half year on the promise of marriage and later the offender refused to marry her.
After the woman delivered a baby girl; she lodged a complaint with the Baghsewania police on Saturday.
According to the police, the victim was sexually assaulted and later sexually exploited by the accused Ashutosh alias Golu Ahirwar for the past one and a half year and during the period he assured victim of marriage and continued to sexually exploit her.
The victim came into contact with the accused when the accused used to visit her house to meet victim’s brother who was his friend.
The two developed relationship and the victim was sexually exploited by the accused in her house.
After few months victim gave birth to a baby girl and later victim refused to marry her which forced victim to lodged complaint against the accused who went absconding.
Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case under sections 376(2) (N) and 506 of the IPC.
During the investigation police found that the accused work as contractual employee with government department and details of the accused are under investigation.
Meanwhile, Gandhi Nagar police have booked a miscreant for sexually assaulting a 20-year-old married woman on June 29; victim lodged complaint on Saturday.
Police have booked Imran alias Chotu for sexually assaulting the victim.
A case was registered after complaint was lodged by the victim with the Gandhi Nagar police stating that the accused sexually assaulted victim when she was alone at her house.
Based on the complaint the police have registered a case under section 376 of the IPC and started further investigation.
