A 26-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at his residence at Harshwardhan Nagar under TT Nagar police station area on Friday.
Police said that the deceased Rajmukar Namdev was found hanging and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared.
In the initial investigation, police found that the deceased committed suicide in the early morning hours and his body was spotted around noon.
During the investigation police have not found any suicide note or any reason behind the suicide.
The family members failed to provide any reason behind the suicide.
It was found that the deceased used to work at a marriage garden.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem the police have registered a case under section 174 of the CRPC and have started further investigation. Meanwhile, a 34-year-old married woman committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at Bagh Umrao Dullah under Aishbagh police station area on Friday.
The deceased Farha Khan was found hanging was rushed to a nearby hospital after she was declared dead.
Police said that the deceased was suffering from mental illness and at the time of the incident, deceased’s family members were at home.
After the preliminary investigation, the body was sent for the post-mortem and a case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered.
The police have started further investigation into the matter.
The deceased had a child from her marriage. She was suffering for long from illness.
