A 26-year-old groom collapsed and died while on horseback during his wedding procession in Sheopur district on Friday night. The tragic incident was caught on camera, and a video of the moment has since gone viral on social media.

The deceased has been identified as Pradeep Jat, former district president of the National Student Union of India (NSUI), the student wing of the Congress party. According to reports, Jat was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Initial medical assessments suggest he suffered a heart attack.

In the viral video, Jat, dressed in a traditional sherwani, can be seen riding towards the wedding stage when he suddenly leans forward and loses consciousness. A guest standing nearby attempts to assist him, but he collapses before he can be helped off the horse.

The shocking incident has drawn widespread reactions on social media, with many users expressing grief and sympathy for the bereaved family. Messages of condolence flooded online platforms, with users describing the incident as heartbreaking and praying for the family's strength.

This tragedy comes just days after a similar incident in Indore, where a 23-year-old woman collapsed and died while dancing at a wedding ceremony. Parinita Jain, who had traveled from Vidisha to attend her cousin’s wedding, was performing on stage to the Bollywood song Sharara Sharara when she suddenly collapsed. The moment was also captured on video, leaving wedding attendees in shock.

Both incidents have raised concerns over sudden medical emergencies at celebrations, highlighting the need for awareness and immediate medical assistance in such situations.
