A 25-year-old youth was robbed of mobile phone and Rs 10000 cash at VIP road area under Koh-e-Fiza police station area on Tuesday.
According to the police, the victim Faizan Ali was on his way back home and was contacted by his friend Musa Golden alias Ayan and later robbed at VIP road.
During the meeting the victim was attacked in VIP road area Ayan along with his two friends snatched Rs 10000 and a mobile phone. The complainant went home due to fear. The next day, reached the police station and filed a complaint against Ayan and two unknown persons. The police are probing the matter, the accused are yet to be arrested.
Police said that Faizan Ali has a shop in Arif Nagar. On Monday he went to the Housing Board Karond to drop off his sister. While returning from there, at around 11 am, a friend Musa Golden alias Ayan was found on the way. Musa sat on his Activa saying that he would visit VIP road.
Both were going towards Khanu village from VIP road. Musa stopped the vehicle near the Koh-e-Fiza intersection during which two boys came on scooter and started threatening and demanding money. On refusing, stabbed him in the thigh. . Due to fear, the victim gave Rs 10,000 and a mobile phone. After this both of them said come on Moses, the work is done. Musa left with them on the Activa. Musa already knew that Faizan had kept the money. After which he called his two other friends as part of the plan and carried out the incident.
Frightened by the incident, the complainant went home. The next day he came to the police station and lodged a complaint. The complainant does not recognize the two unidentified youths. Recognizes Moses because he was an old acquaintance. Police are looking for the accused by registering the case. Soon the police will arrest the accused of loot.
