A 25-year old girl committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling at Chandbad under Bajaria police station area on Saturday.
According to the police Ekta alias Mehar Ali was found hanging at her residence and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead. The deceased used to work with a call center. On Saturday the deceased went to her room at around 8 pm and later her death was confirmed after her colleague called her after several times and failed to get response and informed the house owner of the deceased who found the deceased hanging.
Deceased used to live alone at Chandbad while her family used to live at Jai Bheem Nagar. Police have received a suicide note in which the deceased has claimed that she had taken extreme step due to frustration in life.
In the evening when deceased's colleague Amir tried to tried to contact her he was not able to contact her as the deceased did not answered his phone calls.
The statements of the family members and colleagues are yet to be recorded which could help in determining the reason behind the suicide committed by the deceased.
During the investigation police have found that the deceased used to live at a rented apartment away from her family. The reason of her separate living would be investigated. After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and the police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
