A 24-year-old youth was injured after four persons attacked with sharp edged weapon and assaulted him who entered a fight while playing cards late in the night at Amrat restaurant under Ratibad police station area; injured person have sustained severe injuries in the attack.
Panic prevailed late in the night in the area after a youth was attacked and was rushed to hospital where he was reportedly critical.
According to the police, around 11 pm Gautam had a verbal spate and it soon turned bloody as the exchange of words was replaced with deadly attack lead by four armed men who were having liquor with him. The four were identified as Manoj, Arjun, Sagar and his aide.
Police said that the quarrel between them was soon joined by other drinking at the spot and attacked with sharp edged weapons. The injured was rushed to hospital and provided treatment.Police have registered a case of attempt to murder. Accused escaped the spot after injuring the victim. The search for accused has been intensified.During the investigation police found that the victim works as labourer and attackers were his friend who were having liquor and had a fight during which victim was attacked. Victim sustained multiple injuries and is reported critical and is under observation.
