A 24-year-old youth died after he was hit by a speeding train in the night on railway tracks at Barkhedi on Monday. The family members of the victim alleged that someone attacked him and in a bid to save himself, he started running and met the accident.
Police were informed after a man was found dead at railway tracks in the night on Monday and on the receipt of the informartion, a police team reached the spot and started investigation.
In the initial investigation, police have found that the deceased was Abhisek Siddhi and was on his way to home after work.
After the preliminary investigation, the body was sent for post-mortem and the police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC .
The circumstantial evidences suggests that the deceased committed suicide but to ascertain it at this moment is not possible and could be confirmed only after receiving the post mortem report.
The family members claimed that Abhisek was attacked by some persons near the railway tracks and when he tried to escape, he was hit by a speeding train.
Meanwhile, a 20-year-old youth died under suspicious circumstances at Parvalia village at his aunt’s house in the evening on Monday.
The deceased, identified as Jitendra Kumar of Vidisha, was declared dead when he was taken to hospital after he reported illness.
Reason behind the death remained unclear and would be revealed after receiving the post-mortem report. The deceased came to meet his aunt and was staying with her family. Police have started investigation into the matter.
