A 24-year old woman’s body was found in a well in Sunga village under Nazirabad police station area on Wednesday.
According to the police, the victim, Rani Bai’s body was found floating in the well on Wednesday by her family.The body was fished out and was taken to nearby hospital where she was declared dead. The police were informed and after preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post-mortem examination.The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.The victim died at her parents' home in Nazirabad, where she had arrived a few days ago to attend her brother’s marriage.
Meanwhile, a 21-year old youth died on Wednesday during treatment after his motorbike was hit by a speeding vehicle on May 3 in Parwalia area.According to the police the victim, Viru was on his way home when his motorbike was hit by a speeding vehicle in Parwalia area.The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital and was later referred to Chirayu hospital.The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation
Police said that during investigation it was investigated that the victim died due to the negligence of the errant driver which is yet to be identified and if found guilty a case under section 304 A would be registered against the accused.
