A 24-year old woman was allegedly sexually exploited for the past three years on the promise of marriage at Ayodhya Nagar under Piplani police station area; a complaint was lodged by victim on Monday.
According to the police, the victim was sexually assaulted by the accused Akash Vishwakarma in the name of marrying her and after she gave birth to a baby girl accused left her. Based on the complaint police have registered a case under section 376(2) of the IPC and started investigation. The victim came into contact with the accused when she came to her grandparents four years ago and came into contact with the accused.
In the complaint victim claimed that the accused developed relationship with the victim and later offered her to marry and stay with him at Bhopal. After the victim came to Bhopal he continued to sexually exploit and lured her of marriage. Few months back when she gave birth to baby girl accused left the victim.
The victim lodged a complaint with the police and after the preliminary investigation police have registered case against the accused and started search for the accused.
Police found that the accused put vermillion on victim’s forehead which was marriage according to him and whenever victim would ask for marrying through proper rituals he told victim that she belonged to lower caste.
After victim gave birth to a baby girl accused left her leaving victim alone and later she lodged complaint.
