A 24-year-old married woman committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at Putlighar under Teelajamalpura police station area on Monday.
Police said that Fauzia Khan was found hanging with the ceiling and rushed to hospital where she was declared dead. Body was sent for the post mortem and police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and started further investigation.
The husband of the deceased work as carpenter and was at work when the deceased committed suicide. During the investigation police have not found any suicide not or information which could help in establishing the reason behind the suicide.
Reason behind the suicide remained unknown while the statements of the family members of the deceased are yet to be recorded. Meanwhile, a 55-year-old man committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at Bihari Colony under Chhola Mandir police station area on Monday. The deceased identified as Sitaram Basod was found hanging with the ceiling and later declared dead when taken to hospital.
At the time of suicide family members have gone to work. The deceased committed suicide late in the afternoon and was found hanging when the family members returned after work. After the preliminary investigation the police have sent the body for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and started further investigation.
The deceased use to remain depressed for the past few days but reason could not be ascertained as the family members are unaware.
