A 24-year old girl was sexually exploited for the past one year on the promise of marriage at Sundar Nagar under Ashoka Garden police station area; a case was registered on Sunday.
According to the police, the victim was sexually assaulted by the accused Kamlesh Dhakad who assured her of marriage and continued to sexually exploit her.
Based on the complaint police have registered a case under sections 376 and 506 of the IPC.
The victim came into contact with the accused when she used to stay in Sundar Nagar. The accused was her neighbour. The victim claimed that she developed relationship with the victim by luring her of marriage and started sexually exploiting her.
Over one year he started to sexually exploit her and whenever she used to ask for marriage the accused use to escaped with excuses and frustrated over the excuses the victim lodged a complaint with the Ashoka Garden police.
Police said that the details of the accused would be searched in the further investigation. During the investigation police would search for the past crime record of the accused.
Meanwhile, accused who sexually exploited 17-year-old girl at Bheem Nagar remained absconding; Jehangirabad police have raided house of accused and other places but the accused identified as Kuldeep managed to remained absconding.
On Saturday victim lodged complaint against the accused regarding sexual exploitation for the past two years and later refused to marry her. Police registered case of sexual assault and was also charged under section of POCSO Act.
