Jehangirabad police have booked a 23-year-old youth for sexually exploiting a 20-year old girl for the past two months on the pretext of marrying her; police have registered a case on Monday.
Police said that the accused identified as Saddam Gauri was booked for sexually assaulting victim who lives in the same locality and is relative of the accused.
The victim in her complaint stated that the accused used to live in the same locality and used to visit her house frequently during which he proposed her and offered her marriage which the victim agreed.
After the victim agreed the accused developed relationship with the victim and recently when the victim and her family asked for the marriage accused refused and abused her and threatened her of life after which the victim lodged a complaint with the police.
Based on the complaint, police registered a case under sections 376 and 506 of the IPC and nabbed the accused.
The police have registered a case of sexual assault against the accused.
Meanwhile, Kolar police have booked three miscreants who molested a 20-year-old girl at Gehukheda on Monday.
Neeraj, Bhura and Nasir were booked by Kolar police who used to molest the victim and when she and her family members protested they were attacked by the three and escaped the spot.
Victim lodged a complaint with the Kolar police and based on the complaint he police have registered a case under sections 354, 294, 323 and 34 of the IPC and started search for the accused.
