A 23-year-old girl died during treatment after her scooter was hit by a speeding vehicle near Ashima Mall under Misrod police station area on Saturday, deceased was undergoing treatment during which she died on Sunday.
Police said that an injured girl was rushed to a nearby hospital after her scooter was hit by a speeding vehicle in the afternoon on Saturday and later during the treatment she died.The deceased was identified as Aarti Koche of Saket Nagar and used to work in C-21 Mall.
Police said that the errant vehicle and driver were not identified in the initial investigation and search would be done during the investigation.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 304 A of the IPC and have started further investigation.
Meanwhile a 34-year-old man committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at his residence at Rajendra Nagar under Bairagarh police station area on Sunday.
According to the police the deceased Raja alias Deepak Kushwaha was found hanging and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
Police said that the deceased hailed from Vidisha and used to work as labour. The reason behind the suicide was not found and would be investigated.
The family members of the deceased could help in providing the reason behind the death of the deceased.
