A 23-year-old youth died after his bike skid and rammed into road divider near Rista Garden under Eithkhedi police station area late in the night on Sunday. The police said that an injured youth who was found in an unconscious and injured stated was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died during treatment.
The deceased was identified as Vijay Ahirwar of Lambakheda. At the time of accident road was deserted which suggests that bike skid and youth got injured which proved fatal. During the investigation police found that the deceased was found bike skid due to which he sustained injuries. The commuters took him to hospital where he died during treatment.Police were informed and after the preliminary investigation the body was sent for post mortem. The police registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC. The youth was hit by some vehicle could not be ascertained and would be investigated. Meanwhile, a 15-year-old girl died after electrocution at Amarpali market while playing at a tree under Katara Hills police station area on Sunday.
According to the police Sumita Pardi was playing and climbing the tree where she came in contact with a live electric wire and was rushed to AIIMS hospital where she was declared brought dead.
She was a resident of Barrai village and met accident while playing. Body was sent for the post mortem and after preliminary investigation police have registered case under section 174 of the CrPC.
