A 23-year-old woman was sexually exploited for the past four years at Behta village; a case of sexual assault was registered by Bairagarh police station area on Tuesday.
According to the police the victim came into contact with the accused around four years and she was sexually exploited by him for four years on the pretext of marrying her.
The accused Shubham Sisdodiya was nabbed by the police after the victim lodged a complaint with the Bairagarh police. Police said that the accused used to work as construction material supplier while the victim is a student.
In the complaint the victim stated that the two used to live in the same area where they became acquainted and later they developed relationship.
The accused started to sexual exploit her in the name of marrying her but whenever the victim would ask for marriage he would escape with excuses and finally he refused to marry her and threatened her of life after which the victim lodged a complaint with the police.
After the complaint was made by the victim the accused was nabbed after preliminary investigation a case was registered the accused was nabbed by the police on Tuesday.
The police have registered a case under section 376 and 506 of the IPC and have started further investigation. The accused was produced in the court on Wednesday and was sent under judicial custody.
Police said that the details of the accused would be searched and his crime record would be searched in the investigation.
