Shahpura police have arrested a 23-year-old youth for sexually assaulting a 14-year-minor girl in Shahppura area; accused sexually assaulted after she was sedated by the accused.
Police have arrested Yuvraj Kumar for sexually assaulting the victim who became friend with her four days ago over social media and met her only to sexually assault her.
A case was registered after complaint was lodged by the victim with the Shahpura police stating that the victim came into contact with the accused and later after developing relationship he and sexually assaulted her. The accused hails from Patna Bihar and works with a private company. The accused provided sedated coffee after which the victim was not in her senses and taking advantage accused raped her.
The police have registered a case under section 336,342, 376 2 H, 506 of the IPC and sections of POCSO Act against the accused.
The accused works with a private finance company and stays at a rented room for the past five years. The victim is a class 9 student.
At the Shahpura police station woman ASI is not posted and Monika Gaur posted at Chunbhatti police registered the case. The case would be handled by SHO Woman police station Ajeeta Nayar.
