A 23-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging from a tree at Tamda forest village under Khajuri police station area on Wednesday.
Police said that the family members of the deceased found him hanging and rushed him to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
Deceased was identified as Deepak Shakya and used to work as shepherd. He used to visit forest for cattle grazing and on Tuesday when he failed to return in the evening family members went to search for him and found him hanging.
Nothing which could reveal reason behind the suicide was found and investigation to reveal the reason behind the suicide would be done. After the preliminary investigation police sent the body for the post mortem and registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC.
Meanwhile, 28-year old man committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance at his Ashok Enclave under Aishbagh police station area on Wednesday.
According to the police, Praveen Sahu was found in an unconscious state at his house and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died during treatment.
