A 22-year-old youth died after he was hit by a speeding train near railway crossing under Gautam Nagar police station area on Sunday. Police claimed that the youth committed suicide, but family members have raised allegations of killing.
According to the police, the youth was hit by a speeding train and locals who spotted the youth informed the police. On the receipt of the information a police team reached the spot and started further investigation.
SP Bhopal (North) Arvind Saxena said that the deceased was identified as Rahul Rajani of Ganesh Nagar. In the initial investigation a suicide note was found in which the deceased claimed that his girlfriend started to avoid which is unbearable and due to which he is taking the extreme step.
Mobile phone was recovered from his home and spectacles of the deceased were recovered near the spot. The circumstantial evidences suggests that the deceased committed suicide and which was also confirmed by the driver of Bhopal express who told the police that the deceased hit the train by his own, he added.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and the police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
Meanwhile a man in the age group of 30-35 year was found dead near railway tracks under Aishbagh police station area on Sunday.
According to the police at around 11 pm a local informed regarding a man lying near the railway tracks and based on the information a police team was rushed to the spot.
Police suspects that the deceased might have fell from a train as nothing was which could establish that the deceased committed suicide or he was killed. The police have not found anything which could establish the identity of the deceased in the investigation.
