A 22-year-old married woman, who sustained burn injuries at her house on Wednesday in Naveen Nagar, succumbed in the hospital, while undergoing treatment on Thursday. Bajaria police have started investigation.
According to the police, the victim Kanaklata was found engulfed in fire at her house and was rushed to a nearby hospital.
The in-laws have told the police that she was ablaze after lamp chimney fall over her.
Police were informed and after preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
Police said that the victim committed suicide or it was an accident would be investigated in the further investigation.
The deceased was recently married. The condition of the deceased deteriorated on Thursday and late in the night she died while undergoing treatment at Hamidia hospital.
Meanwhile a man in the age group 35 -40 years died after he was hit by a speeding train near railway tracks under Sukhisewania police station area in the morning on Friday.
Police were informed and on the receipt of the information police team reached the spot and started further investigation.
