A 22-yea-old newly wedded woman committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at Sharda Nagar under Gautam Nagar police station area on Monday.
According to the police, Durga Ahirwar was found hanging at her house and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared brought dead.
In the initial investigation, police found that the deceased committed suicide due to dispute with family members but during the investigation, police have not found any suicide note, which could help in revealing reason behind the suicide.
On Monday, Durga committed suicide when she was alone at her house. The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC.
The deceased got married with Rakesh but after the marriage relationship never remained good and turned sour and later the two used to have frequent disputes and verbal spates.
Police are yet to record statements of family members which could help in the investigation and reveal reason behind the suicide. The husband of the accused was also not able to provide reason of suicide.
Meanwhile, a 44-year-old woman who died under suspicious circumstances after she was declared dead when taken to Hamidia hospital, died by consuming poisonous substance still she committed suicide or was poisoned would be investigated by Bairagarh police.
The deceased Komal Ahuja was declared dead after she was taken to hospital when she was found unconscious at her house at Sewasadan road. Police have started investigation into the matter.
