A 22-year-old man died while his 18-year-old nephew escaped with injuries after their motorbike was hit by a speeding jeep head-on at Bansiya jod under Bilkharia police station area on Sunday.
Police said that two injured were taken to hospital were one of them was declared dead. The deceased was identified as Vasudev Bhalavi while other youth was identified as Johan(17), Vasudev’s nephew.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 304 A of the IPC and started further investigation.
The locals informed the police and on the receipt of the information police team rushed to the spot and started investigation. Police have not found any details of the vehicle which escaped the spot after the accident. The accident occurred at Amjhara mandi road.
The two have gone to Jamunia village to meet their relative in the morning and when they were on their way back on bike a jeep hit them head-on which resulted in the death of Vasudev. The deceased used to live in Shanti Nagar and work with a private firm.
Meanwhile, a 40-year-old man died after he fell at Risaldar Colony under Gautam Nagar police station area on Sunday.
Police said that Aslam Khan was rushed to a nearby hospital after he fell in his house where he was declared brought dead. The deceased was identified as Aslam Khan.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and a case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered. The police have started further investigation.
