A 22-year-old married woman committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at Piplani area on Saturday; before committing suicide she said to her mother-in-law dua dete raha karo (give blessings).
Before committing suicide she had bathed her mother-in-law. She made her sit in the sun, after which she told her to give blessings to her.
Earlier in the day she had also asked her husband to take her shopping in the evening and in the afternoon, she committed suicide.
The police have registered a case and started an investigation. After the post-mortem on Sunday, the body was handed over to the family.
According to husband Saurabh Maurya he married to Shivani Maurya 3 years ago both from Jaunpur in Uttar Pradesh. They have been living in Bhopal with their family for 6 years. Saurabh works in loan consultancy.
Shivani had returned from Jaunpur on December 5. There she had gone to attend her cousin's engagement. At the time of the incident the family members had gone to work.
