A 22-year old girl was allegedly sexually exploited for the past one year on the promise of marriage at Ashoka garden; a complaint was lodged by the victim on Tuesday.
According to the police, the victim was sexually assaulted by the accused Saurabh Sharma in the name of marrying her and a few days ago the victim found that the accused had married another girl in Gujarat.
The victim came into contact with the accused around 5 years ago in the Ashoka Garden area. The two became friends and later developed a relationship.
In the complaint the victim claimed that the accused developed a relationship with the victim and later offered her to marry and during the past one year he sexually assaulted and exploited her.
The accused and victim's family were ready for marriage but a few days ago the accused went to Gujarat for a job and where he married another girl.
The victim came to know that the accused married in consent with her family members. During the time the accused was in Gujarat the two used to talk and later the victim got information about the cheating by the accused. The victim lodged a complaint with the police. Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation police have registered a case of sexual assault and started investigation.
