21-year-old commits suicide

A 21-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging from a tree at Railway Hospital premises under Bajaria police station area on late night on Saturday.

The deceased was found hanging on Sunday when the hospital staff spotted deceased hanging at around 11 am.  Police were informed by the hospital staff and on the receipt of the information a police team reached the spot and after preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. 

During the investigation, the victim was identified as Kamal Prasad who hailed from Guna.

Police said that grandfather of deceased, who works as railway gangman, was admitted few days ago in the Railway hospital and Kamal was taking care of his grandfather but on Saturday after having dinner he went missing and was found hanging on Sunday morning. The police have not found any suicide note in the investigation which could help in determining the reason behind the suicide but a twenty rupee note was recovered from the deceased in which ‘I love You’ was written which suggests that the Kamal was in relationship and something went wrong after which he took extreme step. 

It would be investigated that the deceased has committed suicide due to failure in love or for some other reason. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.  Meanwhile an assistant lineman died after he fell from electric pole while repair work at Vidhya Nagar under Bagh Sewania police station on Sunday. lalta Singh (52) was rushed to National hospital after he fell from electric pole during a repair work of a power supply line, where he was declared brought dead. The deceased was posted as assistant lineman with Madhya Pradesh Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company limited (MPMKVVCl).
