1% discount for advance elect bill payment
Decision of discounts of advance electricity bill payments and encouragement for consumers for early payment of bills was taken by Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission for the electricity tariff for the year 2018-19.
According to the orders issued on advance payment before the generation of bill would provide a discount of 1 per cent except the security amount.
For bills of Rs 1 lakh and above of consumers of low voltage consumers if bills are paid before 7 days of the scheduled date a discount of 0.25 percent would be provided except arrears, security deposit, meter rent and government applicable charges.
For making online payment 0.5 per cent discount which would Rs 5 to maximum Rs 20 would be provided.
Guv visits Raj Bhavan health camp
Governor Anandiben Patel on Tuesday visited health check up camp held for employees at Raj Bhavan Dispensary. She gathered information from the doctors about employees' health. The Governor underwent check of her leg on BMD machine for bone examination. The camp was organised by Madhya Pradesh Red Cross Society to mark its foundation day. Patel enquired about cause of dental problem of an employee when he was undergoing check-up. The doctor told that he developed the problem due to chewing 'Gutkha'. The Governor advised employees that they should eat fruits and nutritious food instead of Gutkha. It will keep them healthy and save money from treatment.
Total 195 employees got registered in the camp and 158 of them were examined. Around 102 employees underwent ECG test and 167 blood test and 146 employees got bone examination. Apart from this, ENT, dental, skin related examinations were also made. The Governor visited Homeopathy clinic and took information about patients.
