Jehangirabad police have booked a 26-year-old youth of Jinsi on the charge of sexually exploiting a 19-year-old girl. A case was registered on Saturday.
The accused Bablu Sen of Rewa sexually exploited the victim on the pretext of marriage, but later refused to marry her after which victim had a fight with the accused and later she lodged a complaint with the Misrod police.The Misrod police registered an FIR and transferred the case to Jehangirabad police for further investigation.The victim in her complaint stated that she became acquainted with the accused in Rewa as he used to live in the same area and on April 17 she came to the city where she was sexually assaulted.The police have registered a case under section 376 of the IPC and started further investigation.The accused works with New Palace hotel in the city and went absconding after the victim lodged complaint against him. Police have not found any crime record of the accused and would question the employees of the hotel where he used to work.
