‘Nadi mahotsav’ inspection
Bhopal:Members of organizing committee of Nadi Mahotsav, BJP State Organisational Secretary Suhas Bhagat and BJP State Vice President Vijesh lunawat visited and inspected arrangements of two-day ‘Nadi Mahotsav’ scheduled to be organised on March 16 and 17, 2018 at Hoshangabad.Every year, ‘Nadi Mahotsav’ is organised on a special subject and this year the fifth Nadi Mahotsav would be organised on ‘Narmada Nadi ki Sahayak Nadiyon and Unke Parivesh’.Special arrangements have been made for the participants from other districts. With an aim to create awareness among massed regarding rivers and conservation of rivers Nadi Mahotsav was started in the year 2008.

HM to preside RSSP meeting
Bhopal:Home Minister Bhupendra Singh will preside over the meeting of Rajya Sadak Suraksha Parishad meeting to be held on March 21 at 3 pm. This meeting is to be held at committee room no; 4 at Vidhan Sabha premises.Urban Development and Environment Minister, Public Works Minister, Public Health and Family Welfare Minister, School Education Minister and Rural Development Minister will take part in the meeting.Director General of Police, Additional Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary Home, Additional Chief Secretary Finance, Additional Chief Secretary School Education. Principal Secretary Rural Development, Principal Secretary Transport, Principal Secretary Public Works, Principal Secretary Urban Administration and Development, Principal Secretary Public Health and Family Welfare, Principal Secretary Public Relations, Commissioner Transport, Commissioner Urban Administration and Development, Managing Director Road Development Authority, Chief Executive Officer Rural Road Development Authority and Regional Officer National Highways Authority of India have also been told to take part in the meeting.
960 govt schools to be upgraded
Bhopal:As many as 960 government schools are being upgraded from academic session 2018-19 for globalization of school education in state. In this academic session 340 Government High Schools will be upgraded to Higher Secondary schools and 620 Government Middle Schools will be upgraded to High Schools.The Department of School Education has directed to ensure all essential arrangements for the implementation of state government’s decision to concerned district education officers. Improved arrangements will be ensured in the upgraded schools.The Department of School Education has approved a Rs 385 crore scheme to make food and residential arrangements available in district level schools of excellence in 41 districts of the state. With adequate hostel facility, students residing in rural areas will also be able to acquire education in these schools of excellence.

Bhopal:Minister for Public Relations, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Narottam Mishra has expressed profound grief over the demise of Dr Bhagwati Tripathi, the elder brother of SP Tripathi, Channel Head of the Swaraj TV.Dr Bhagwati Tripathi died in a road accident today near Rewa. Mishra has prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear this loss.
