shade saplings planted at Narmada Guest House
Bhopal: Under the aegis of BHEl ladies Club, various types of fruit bearing saplings as well as shade saplings were planted at Narmada Guest House premises BHEl, Bhopal. On this occasion Pratibha Thakur, President BHEl ladies Club, all vice-president; DK Thakur, Executive Director BHEl, Bhopal along with all general managers were present. Thakur in her address said that tree plantation and environment conservation is our moral responsibility and it is very important to hand over a better environment to the next generation. She further said that in spite of the club’s limited resources, the club proposes to plant as much trees as possible this monsoon and will simultaneously take care of the trees. She appreciated the assistance extended by BHEl management for the cause and the steps taken by state government in this direction.
‘Mask of Dhumavati’ is exhibit of the month
Bhopal: Under the popular museum series ‘Exhibit of the Month’ of Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, a traditional object is displayed in the appearance for a whole month. The exhibit for the month of July, 2017 is “Mask of Dhumavati”, Dhumavati -A Deity in Bhuta Cult of South Karnataka. Exhibit of the month will be inaugurated by on Tuesday, 11th July, 2017, at Veethi Sankul indoor exhibition building. This exhibition is being mounted by Sutya Kumar Pandey (Assistant Keeper).
Narottam Mishra reaches Bandakpur
Bhopal: Public Relations, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Narottam Mishra on Sunday reached Bandakpur in Damoh district to meet Grahast Sant Dev Prabhakar Shastri “Dadda Ji” and sought his blessings on the occasion of Guru Purnima. The PR Minister said that like last year, this year too a Parthiv Shivlinga is being created in Datia and its rituals would be performed. This year this will be completed from July 29 to August 4. Dadda Ji would be present on the occasion of Parthiv Shivlinga Nirman Samaroh. Mishra told that Dadda Ji has given his approval for the same.

Bhopal: Rajya Sabha MP Vinay Sahastrabudhhe on Sunday met Higher Education Minister Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya at his residence. He took detailed information about activities undertaken in Madhya Pradesh in the field of higher education. He urged on giving stress on research works. He lauded the inclusion of moral education in foundation course and reviewing of curriculum in Madhya Pradesh. He termed the decision taken on semester system as ‘beneficial’. Meira Kumar to arrive on july 13 in Mp
Bhopal: The Congress-led opposition's Presidential nominee Meira Kumar will arrive in the Madhya Pradesh capital on July 13 to seek support for her candidature. leader of Opposition Ajay Singh on Sunday said that Kumar would interact with the state legislators. She would appeal to legislators of the Congress and other like-minded parties to back her candidature for the top post, he said. Meira Kumar will also address Congress legislators at the party office here at 4 pm and fly back to Delhi later in the evening. NDA's Presidential nominee Ram Nath Kovind was in Bhopal on Saturday during which he addressed a meeting of BJP legislators and MPs and sought support for his candidature.
