A 21-year-old nursing student committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at Old Minal Residency under Ayodhya Nagar police station area late in the night on Saturday.
According to the police the deceased Pooja Verma committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling. Police said that at around 1 in the night the family members found the deceased hanging and rushed her to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead. A suicide note was recovered but in the suicide note nothing was mentioned which could reveal the reason behind the extreme step which the deceased took.
CSP of Ayodhya Nagar Rashmi Kharya said that the deceased used to stay at the college and came to house on Saturday where she committed suicide. The students of the college would be questioned in the further investigation as the suicide note recovered does not reveal reason behind the suicide, she added.
In the suicide note deceased had appealed not to annoy her parents after her suicide. The call record details and other information which could help in revealing the reason behind the suicide would be searched.
