Tiger cub 'Bandhu' brought to Van Vihar
Bhopal: Tiger cub 'Bandhu' has been brought to Van Vihar, Bhopal from Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve in Umaria district. The cub has been kept in tiger housing of Van Vihar. Two tiger cubs were rescued in year 2014 and kept in Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. Since one of these cubs BTR MPT 25 has got accustomed to presence of human beings, it would be kept in Van Vihar by the name 'Bandhu'.
State Election panel appoints Admin Service officer
Bhopal: The State Election Commission has appointed Retired State Administrative Service officer Anup Tiwari as observer for general election of Members of Mawai Janpad Panchayat and 52 Gram Panchayats in Mandla district. Tiwari will monitor election works. He will report directly to the commission.
MNREGA Vendors can get registered directly
Bhopal: Now, Vendors working under MNREGA can get themselves registered directly at district level. ACS Panchayats and Rural Development has given these directives to collectors and CEOs of all district during video-conferencing here today. ACS has also directed to simplify and smoothen process of vendor registration. As per directives, vendors can submit their application in concerning Zila Panchayat. They should furnish information about TIN Number of Commercial Taxes Department and bank account number. If vendors face difficulty in registration in any district Panchayat, they may submit online application on MNEREGA's website www.nregs-mp.org. After online registration they will automatically registered in Uttara software. Through it, applicant will get a serial number using which he can get updated information. A team headed by Director of State National Informatics Centre (NIC) Sunil Jain has also been constituted to help vendors to get registered.
Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana Implementation starts
Bhopal: Implementation of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana has been started. For it, programme has been decided. Poor families will be provided lPG gas connection free of cost. As per programme, printed application forms will be available at fair price shops by July 10. Filled up forms will be accepted till July 25. Data entry of received applications will be done and applications handed over to gas agencies by July 30. Concerning gas agencies will approve connections by August 14. Distribution of gas connections will be held from August 16 to 31. ACS Food and Civil Supplies has given necessary directives regarding this to district collectors in a letter. In the first phase, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana will be implemented in tribal-dominant blocks. Besides, it would also be implemented in 15 km radius of gas agencies in remaining blocks. District collectors have been directed to identify these urban bodies.
MP Govt accords status of Minister of State
Bhopal: The State Government has accorded status of Minister of State to vice president duo of State level National Integration Committee. The state government had recently appointed senior journalists Mahesh Shrivastava and Ramesh Sharma as Vice Presidents in this Committee. General Administration Department has issued orders to accord status of Minister of State to Shrivastava and Sharma on Monday.
