A 35-year-old married woman was sexually assaulted by three miscreants at Sanjeev Nagar under Nishatpura police station area on Thursday.
According to the police the victim along with her mother-in-law had gone for defecation in the morning on Thursday where she was taken to a secluded place by the three miscreants and took turns to rape her and escaped the spot.
A complaint was lodged with the Nishatpura police by the victim and her mother-in-law and in the complaint the victim claimed that in the morning at around 6 am when she along with her mother-in-law had gone for defecation she was captivated by Israel Khan, Kallu Khan and Imran Khan and raped her.
The three are residents of Mughalia village in Ahmedpur. Police said that search for the miscreants has been started. Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 376 2 (G) of the IPC and have started further investigation.
The details and past criminal records of the three have been searched to find the whereabouts of the three. Several places in Ahmedpur were searched by the police but failed to find the miscreants and Ahmedpur police have been informed regarding the miscreants.
In the initial investigation police found that the victim’s husband has gone for some work and the victim was staying with her mother-in-law. It is possible that the three were aware of the whereabouts of the victim. Till the filing of the report no arrest were made by the police.
