Idea enables the holy dip at Simhastha Kumbh 2016

Bhopal: Idea Cellular has come up with innovative ideas to engage with consumers, while also providing a solution to a major anxiety faced during Kumbh Mela. Since most attendees to and from the holy dip would not be carrying their mobile phones for the fear of water damaging them, they are left with no means of contacting or being contacted. And with these locations being extremely crowded, the concern of children getting separated from their families is real. To help these people, Idea is providing customized water-proof tags for visitors with their names and numbers written on them. For its ease of use and simplicity, this unique service proves to be especially beneficial to children, illiterate villagers, and elderly people. In the unfortunate event of someone getting separated, these tags will prove to be very helpful in re-uniting them with their families. These tags have been distributed to the attendees in large quantities with state police joining the effort.
