panel to probe hand pump digging irregularities
Bhind: A five-member team has been formed by Collector Illayaraja T to inquire into the alleged irregularities in digging of hand pumps by the Public Health Engineering Department in Madhya Pradeshs Bhind district in the past five years. The team, headed by Bhind Sub-Divisional Magistrate BB Agnihotri, will inspect hand pumps dug in the past five years and ascertain whether hand pumps actually existed and their working condition. The team would submit its report in the next 10 days. In a recent meeting of the district planning committee, Bhind legislator Narendra Singh Kushwaha and lahar legislator Govind Singh raised the matter of alleged irregularities to the tune of Rs 49 crore in the PHE Department in Bhind before incharge Minister Maya Singh. Both demanded a probe into the matter by an independent agency. Ms Singh had assured of a probe and to write to the PHE Minister in this regard.
bullion trader dies, two hurt in road mishap
Bhind: A 28-year-old bullion trader died on the spot, while two others suffered injuries, when their motorcycle was hit by a roadside crane near Birkhadi village on National Highway 92. The accident took place when Gohad-residents trader Sonu Soni along with Devendra Soni and Gopal Soni were returning home after finishing their work here last night. They could not see the crane owing to darkness. Sonu died on the spot, while two other injured were referred to Gwalior for treatment.

After promotion, PC Dube has been transferred from Ujjain to Indore. Dube will remain in-charge of Ujjain Circle till end of Simhastha-2016. Alok Kumar has been transferred from Panna National Park to office of PCCF, Bhopal. BB Singh would be CEO of State Bamboo Mission and Mahendra Yadvendu from Bhopal Circle have also been posted at office of PCCF, Bhopal. After promotion, Anil Kumar Khare has been posted as CCF and Principal Forest Ranger College, Balaghat, Bindu Sharma has been given proforma promotion, Anup Singh Rajput has been posted at Forest Development Corporation, BS Annigiri Ujjain Circle (Will take charge of Ujjain Circle after end of Simhastha-2016), AK Bhoogaonkar at Sagar Cirle and VK Neema has bee posted at Bhopal. After promotion, SK Dube has been posted at office of PCCF, Bhopal, Sanjay Moharrir as Additional Secretary Forests, Ravishankar Kori at Shivpuri, KP Bangar as Joint Director Bandhavgarh National Park, Umaria and OP Uchadiya has been posted at Chhatarpur.
