Depressed over death of younger brother, a 21-year-old youth committed suicide at Katara Hills under Bagh Sewania police station area on Sunday. According to the police, Rahul Sahu was found hanging and was rushed to nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
The police were informed and on receipt of the information a police team reached the spot and started investigation. In the initial investigation a suicide note was recovered in which the deceased claimed that he was not able to forget the death of his brother and could not live without him and due to which he was ending life.
During the investigation, police found that deceased's younger brother Anil Sahu died after suffering for long from illness and after his death deceased used to remain depressed over the death.
Anil died after his heart valves were diagnosed as defective and later he suffered a cardiac attack told the police. Police said that Rahul used to remain at home after Anil's death.
Meanwhile, a 26-year-old youth committed suicide at Banganga area under TT Nagar police station area on Tuesday.
Ravi Batham was found hanging at his house on Tuesday at his residence. In the investigation police have not found any reason and after the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem.
The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
