A 35-year old man died and his wife was seriously injured after his motorbike was hit by another speeding motorbike at Kokta area under Bilkharia police station area on Wednesday.
According to the police, on Wednesday two persons including a woman were injured after their motorbike was hit by a speeding truck near Naya Bypass Kokta area. The victims were rushed to a nearby hospital where the man was declared dead while the woman was admitted in serious condition.
In the initial investigation the identity of the victims were identified as Chironjilal and his wife Sukhwati Bai. After preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case.
The victim was a resident of Sukhi Sewania and where on their way to Hoshangabad when the incident took place. Police said that the victim sustained head injuries and witnessed profuse bleeding that resulted into his death. The truck driver escaped leaving the truck. The truck bearing registration number MP04-HE-3527 which hit the motorbike was seized by the police.
Meanwhile, another 35-year-old died after his scooter was hit by a speeding truck at Indrapuri under Piplani police station area late night on Tuesday. According to the police around 11.30 pm a man was injured seriously after his scooter was hit by a speeding truck. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
The police were not able to establish the identity of the decease. The police have registered a case under IPC Section 304 A and have started further investigation.
