Teen gets vision with Sewa Sadan help
Bhopal: Fifteen years old Murlidhar had visual defect in his both eyes, since childhood. His left eye was hundred per cent visionless while there were only 20 per cent vision in right eye. Due to vision ailment he was even not capable to perform his studies. Although he is student of ninth standard in Government Higher Secondary School of village Tilavad (Maina) of Shajapur district, he sought assistance to keep continue his studies. He was not capable to even perform his day to day works at his own. His father Ramnarayan is a farm labourer in village does not earn more to pull his family. Ramnarayan had no money for the treatment of his son. In view of these circumstances his teacher, Hariom Kalmadiya brought him to Sewa Sadan and he was operated for cataract in left eye. Now, this child can see this beautiful world and continue his studies.
4 held with stolen Rs25.5 lakh
Indore: Busting a conspiracy regarding loot of Rs62 lakh allegedly involving men responsible for filling cash in ATM machines, police here have arrested four employees of an agency entrusted with the job. A private firm’s vehicle involved in filling currency notes in ATMs had met with an accident at Nandlai steep road area on September 24. The vehicle’s security guard was found unconscious under an influence of an unidentified drug and Rs62 lakh cash placed in it was also stolen by someone, Mhow area’s Additional SP Arvind Tiwari said. During probe it was found that the company’s three employees — Praveen Sharma, Manish Borasi and driver Vijay Soni — along with associate Rahul Kadam hatched a conspiracy to loot cash from the vehicle and as part of it, they offered a sedative-laced juice to the van’s security guard. As planned, they later rammed the van into a tree and Rahul looted Rs62 lakh cash kept in it, he said. On the basis of suspicion, police questioned them following which they admitted to have committed the crime. Police now recovered Rs24.5 lakh cash from them.
