Fertilizers, dealers warned of action
Gwalior: The black marketing of fertilizers and seeds should never be allowed. They should be made easily available to the farmers. The shops of fertilizers and seed should be inspected properly. The dealers should be warned that strict action should be taken if any irregularity found. These orders were issued by the Agricultural Production Commissioner MM Upadhyay to all the Collectors and departmental officers. In a review meeting held in the interest of farmers through Agriculture Development, Cooperative, horticulture, animal husbandry, fisheries and milk associations etc, Upadhyaya told all Collectors and CEOs of district panchayat and departmental officers that they should regularly visit the villages and know the field working. They should take feedback from the village level staff. Upadhyay emphasised progressive agricultural technique to encourage the farmers. He also said that emergency schemes of agriculture should be making keeping in view the changes of climate.
Dead body found
Gwalior: A body of around 40 years old person was found lying between Hath pour and Sagar Tal under Bahodapur police station on Wednesday. The deceased could not be identified yet. The police found marks of 4-wheeler tyres near the spot. The police suspected the miscreants might have brought the body in a four-wheeler vehicle and dumped the body at burial place. The police could not found any clue from the body of the deceased. The police started investigation on several angles. One of them is that it could be a matter of ‘love-affair’. The police sent the body for post-mortem. The deceased was strangled to death.
Harendra Rana’s associate held
Gwalior: The police claimed to have arrested another associate Preetam Jat of Harendra Rana. The police also came to know that Harendra had closeness with a BJP leader so police started action against BJP leader. The police came to know that Harendra Rana is in constant touch with a BJP leader who has given him shelter. The police started collection of evidence against this BJP leader.
The police are also searching some associates of Harendra Singh including Mulayam Gurjar who is stated to be the secret associate of conspiracy of Harendra Gurjar. Apart from Gwalior police a team of UPSTF is also camping in Gwalior in search of Harendra. The police arrested near half a dozen associates of Harendra and interrogated them. The ASP crime Prathibha Mathew said that several information are being received in connection with Harendra Rana. The intention of those people were given him shelter have also been known. At the same time police is collecting evidence against the influential persons were given to him.
