‘Dalits insulted by Ramdev’s statement’
Gwalior: The people of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes are angry over the statement of yoga Guru Baba Ram Dev on Dalit community. In a meeting held in Nirbhay Bhavan at Padav, the representatives of Dalit Samaj said that the statement of Baba Ram Dev against congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi has insulted the whole Dalit Samaj. For this case should be registered against Baba against SC and ST Atrocity Elimination Act.
In the meeting State president of Dalit Varg Sangh Sudheer Mandelia said that effigy of Baba Ram Dev would be burnt today in Bhim Nagar Morar. In the meeting Gopi lal Bhartia, Ramesh Dhanuk, Pl Sakhvar, Prem Kumar Balmik, Mohan lal Jatav etc. were present. In the meeting, Baba Ram Dev was condemned by PC Jatav Mukesh Arya, Shanti Dev Sisodiya and GS Arya.
Pvt colleges unite against exam controller
Gwalior: Various private colleges have united against the examination controller Prof DD Agrawal who has made objectionable examination centers. Agrawal has made those private colleges centers which were rejected by the committee. The higher education department has clearly ordered that centers of private colleges should be kept in other colleges. The private colleges lodged their complaint to the exam controller for discrimination in making the examination centers. They also expressed their objections to the Vice-Chancellor who assured them that if there has been any mistake it would be rectified.Prof RA Sharma of examination center appointing committee of Jiwaji University said that the private college which was rejected by US has also been made centers. If the centers had to be made indiscriminately, why the scrutiny was got made. The Vice Chancellor of JU Prof Sangeeta Shukla said that some directors of the colleges have registered their objections against appointing some colleges as examination centers. The committee is reviewing them the centers made wrongly would be changed.
286 FAKE MEDICAl STUDENTS detected
Gwalior: As many as 286 fake medical students have been detected after the investigation of 2012 batch. They include 12 students of Gwalior GR medical College so action to expel them would be taken today. On receipt of order the college management started taking action to expel them. Chief Secretary Antony JC DeSa gave the orders to expel the fake medical students. There are 286 fake medical students which are to be suspended. The dean GRMC Gwalior Dr GS Patel said that a list of fake students of 2012 batch has been received by us. Action to expel them would be taken on Monday. In his knowledge there are 12 students who are to be expelled, he added.
