Trainees, executives briefed on lean process
Bhopal: On the occasion of National Productivity Week 2014, Ajay Saxena, Sr Manager, Transformer Manufacturing Division briefed the newly recruited engineer trainees and executives on the details of lEAN process. Sanjeev Gupta, General Manager, P&D, IT was present as the chief guest during the programme. In another programme held under the aegis of productivity week lectures was delivered on the subject of IMPRESS policy. M Halder, General Manager, Feeders was present as the Chief Guest on this occasion. RP Shrringirishi briefing the gathering discussed the benefits of the IMPRESS policy.
three killed in bike-truck collision
Sehore: Three motorcycle-borne people were killed on the spot when their bike collided with a truck in Mohanbadodiya area on Agar Malwa- Shajapur, police said on Saturday. The deceased were identified as Durgesh (20), Sharkar (25) and Manoj (26). The truck driver fled soon after the accident that took place last night and the car was seized.

Bhopal: In a shocking affront to law enforcement authorities, a truck driver smuggling 47 cattle attempted to crush a station house officer (SHO) and two other police personnel under the lorry near Soya Chaupal on the Indore-Bhopal Highway. “last night, Mandi SHO SS Borasi received information regarding the vehicle and the trio endeavoured to stop the truck. When the driver did not obey, the officer pursued the lorry, overtook it and parked his jeep on the road,” Additional Superintendent of Police Amit Saxena said. The truck rammed the other vehicle, severely injuring Borasi and hurting the others. The driver and the cleaner fled. The SHO was referred to Bhopal and the lorry was seized. Two cattle died on the truck due to stuffing. The vehicle’s cabin yielded large quantity of illegal liquor.
