health employees stage dharna in Moti Mahal
Gwalior: The health of contract health employees staging indefinite dharna in Moti Mahal campus in scorching heat is badly affected. Condition of a more than a dozen employees is deteriorating. The agitating employee’s stage dharna symbolically as three monkey’s of Gandhiji. The employees had been staging dharna from May 20, for regularization and increasing pay but the Government has not consider their demand so far. So the employees all over the state have been staging dharna. Two employees became ill some days before. Since yesterday more than a dozen employees of become ill. The effected employees are district president of union Satish, Megh Singh, Sunita Narvaria, Rakhi Sharma, Mamta Narvaria and others suffered from vomiting, loose motion and heat stroke and are resting at their home. A delegation of association would meet the principal secretary Praveer Krishan and submit a memorandum to him.
lokhitari trust starts free medical services
Gwalior: Of late the lokhitkari Trust has added another leaf in its cap by starting free medical and health services to the rural area. On alternate Sunday the team of lokhitkari Trust including doctors, paramedical staff visits the villages in a spacious mobile van provided by the State Bank of India. The response of the villagers is encouraging.
Mentally challenged woman kills child
Gwalior: A mentally challenged woman in Central jail Gwalior killed an innocent child of another woman inmate hitting by stone on Sunday morning. The Bahodapur police registered a case of murder against the accused. The name of the deceased child aged 2.5 years is stated to be Mithun his mother’s name is Ramkanya who is herself undergoing punishment for committing murder. She was transferred from Guna sub jail to Central jail Gwalior in the month of March. In the Central jail woman cell another woman Radha has been brought from Katani in case of life imprisonment in connection with committing murder. It is learnt about Radha that she is mentally challenged and she is being treated in mental hospital. Today morning when Mithun was playing outside Radha lifted a stone and hit the head of Mithun who died on the spot. The jail management took Mithun to hospital but the doctors their declared him dead. The case under 303 registered against Radha.
police keep eye on Cong leaders
Gwalior: Following the Naxal attack on Congress leaders in Chhattisgarh the police started keeping a watch on the Congress here. In Chhattisgarh between Jagdalpur and Bastar in Dargah valley the naxalities attacked Congress Parivartan rally on Saturday evening killing 12 leaders including Mahendra Karma and state congress president Nand Kumar Patel. Nearly 2 dozen leaders were seriously injured. The police and administration received information that some serious reaction against these murders can be made on the side of congress. So high alert has been declared in whole of the state. The workers of youth Congress today burnt effigy of Chhatisgarh Government at Padav Chauraha.
