Rajnath to pay breif visit to Madhya Pradesh
Bhopal: Bharatiya Janata Party president Rajnath Singh would pay a brief visit to Madhya Pradesh on Saturday. A special plane would convey Uttar Pradesh's former Chief Minister to Khajuraho from Delhi in the afternoon. He would then reach Rewa by a helicopter to launch the Atal Jyoti Abhiyan in the district in the presence of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The same evening would witness Singh returning from Khajuraho to Delhi by air.
Deputy CEC meets Chief Secretary
Bhopal: Deputy Chief Election Commissioner Sudhir Tripathi paid a courtesy visit to Chief Secretary R Parasuram at Mantralaya today during his Madhya Pradesh visit. Chief Electoral Officer, Madhya Pradesh, Jaideep Govind was also present on the occasion.
CoNstruction of Haj house to begin soon
Bhopal: Construction of Haj House at Bhopal will begin soon. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan will lay foundation stone of Haj House at village Singarcholi on Airport Road on April 29. The same day at 1.30 pm Shaheed Ashfaqe Ullah Khan, Shaheed Hameed Khan and Maulana Abul Kalam Azad minorities service awards will also be distributed. Awards for year 2012 have been announced. Shaheed Hameed Khan Award will be conferred to Azizuddin Shaikh of Madhya Pradesh Anchalik Patrakar Sangh, Shaheed Ashfaqe Ullah Khan Award to Firoza Khan, District Coordinator, Madhya Pradesh Coordination Human Rights Commission, Baihar Road, Balaghat and Maulana Abul Kalam Azad award will be conferred to Shaikh Riyazuddin Patel, Yashwant Road, Pandarinath, Banskheri, Indore.
`30 lakh sanctioned for construction of Ambedkar Mangwal Bhavans
Bhopal: The Scheduled Castes Welfare Department has sanctioned construction of Ambedkar Mangwal Bhavans at Ashok Nagar and Harda district headquarters. The department has sanctioned `30 lakh for construction of both the buildings. It has directed concerning district collectors to ensure construction through site selection committee. The committee will be headed by district collector while other members will include Janpad Panchayat CEO, officer of local body
and departmental officer of the district. Directives have also been given to ensure construction of Mangal Bhawans with quality within the prescribed time-limit.
