In a major encroachment removal drive, the eviction department of the Town Administration BHEl, Bhopal removed 200 illegal shanties located at Sector-B, Piplani behind 60 quarters. The shanties were illegally constructed to capture land in the BHEl Township by the land-mafias. The town administration department in a written letter had given prior notice to the dwellers. PK Mishra, AGM, TAD said that around 100 employees, 25 security staff, 25 police officers and CISF team were engaged to successfully carry out the eviction drive. The area evicted is under Police Station, Piplani. During the drive Shivdayal, CSP, Govindpura and Rupesh Dubey, TI, Piplani Police Station were present. PK Goyal, General Manager, HR & HRDC along with the HR team visited the site.
