A 20-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging from a tree at Barri Khejra village under Gunga police station area late in the night on Thursday.
Police said that a youth was found hanging from a tree and was declared dead when taken to a hospital. The deceased was identified as Sudeep Yadav. The reason remained unknown as the family members and neighbours are yet to be questioned.
The post mortem report is awaited which could help in revealing further details in the further investigation, said police. After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and started further investigation. The deceased died or his death was suspicious would be investigated as he was found dead under suspicious circumstances.
Meanwhile, a 20-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at Bhim Nagar under Jehangirabad police station area late in the night on Thursday.
The deceased identified as Bittu Agnihotri was found hanging after he had a fight with his elder brother. Police in the initial investigation found that the deceased used to fight with the family after having liquor. He was habitual of alcohol.
In the investigation nothing was found which could help in establishing the reason behind the suicide. The deceased was unemployed and used to remain at home.
The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and started further investigation.
