Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh informed that the limit for compounding for additional construction with building permission and construction without building permission has been increased from 10 to 30 percent by the state government.
He informed that a provision of 20 percent special exemption on fee in compounding cases was made by the state government till February 28, 2022 in urban bodies. This has now been extended upto June 30, 2022.
For mitigation of construction without building permission and excess construction against building permission, online system operated for building permission through Directorate of Urban Administration and Development, ABPAS (Automated Building Plan Approval System) facility is available for online mitigation of cases and receiving fees online.
