A two-year-old girl died after she fell from first floor at Gulabi Nagar under Baghsewania police station area while playing at his house in the evening on Saturday.
Police said that the deceased Munni died while undergoing treatment late in the night on Saturday; she fell from the terrace while playing. The injured took place at around 5 pm and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died late in the night. The father of the deceased girl, Ram works as labour at the under construction colony.
Investigating Officer SI Virendra Sen said that the girl was playing at the time of the incident and fell accidentally. Her mother was working at the ground floor while father was working at some other construction site. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
Meanwhile, an unidentified who was found in an injured state near railway track on October 1 died while undergoing treatment at Hamidia hospital on Saturday.
According to the police, the man was spotted by locals in an injured state who was having injuries in her hand. On the receipt of the information a police team reached the spot and started further investigation.
Police said that identity of the deceased is yet to be established. In the initial investigation nothing which could help in revealing the identity of the deceased was found at the spot.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and the police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation. The deceased died while undergoing treatment on Friday and on Saturday police were informed. Till Saturday his identity was not established.
