Two youths who hit 50-year-old woman near Fracture hospital shanties were nabbed by Habibganj police late in the night on Saturday; accused entered the shanties for cigarette and later assaulted victim.
According to the police two youths forcefully entered the shanty of the victim leelabai who runs a shop after she denied opening the shop and providing cigarette to the youths and after entering they started to beat the victim and while she was beaten by the accused she raised alarm which alerted the neighbours who nabbed the two accused.
The locals informed the police and on the receipt a police team rushed to the spot and detained the two miscreants. The nabbed accused were identified as lalit alias Tony Kabirpanthi and Amit Sharma. lalit is the son of retired IAS officer GP Kabirpanthi.
Based on the complaint after preliminary investigation police have registered a case under section 452,294,506, 323 and 34 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
The incident took place at 2 in the night when the two accused reached the victim's place and demanded to open the shop and provide them cigarette but the victim refused to provide them cigarette which angered the two and they entered the victim's house and started abusing her and later they hit her brutally. Injured in the attack, victim raised alarm which alerted the neighbours and locals who rushed to her help and rescued the victim and nabbed the two accused while they were trying to escape the spot.
