The MP Nagar police have booked two persons for fraudulently availing loan by using forged documents of 56-year-old victim in the year 2013; a case was registered after the victim came to know about the fraud.
Police said that the victim in his complaint stated that the two accused Shankar lokhande and Haribabu used duplicate signature of his brother Sukhdev lokhande.
On June 7, 2013 the two accused Shankar lokhande and Haribabu copied signatures of the victim and availed a loan of Rs 7.14 lakh from ICICI Bank.
The victim came to know about the fraud when the repayment started and he was asked to pay EMI after which a complaint was lodged. The victim initially informed the bank officials and later police were informed regarding the fraud. The police have registered a case under section 420 of the IPC and started further investigation.
