Cyber Crime Branch, Bhopal arrested two accused who cheated victims in the name of selling cement at low price, victims across different areas were targeted by the accused.
The action was taken after a complaint was lodged by one of the victim that a call was received from an unknown number who offered providing cement at a lower price than the market rate. The victim bought 100 bags of ACC cement from that unknown person and deposited Rs 30,000 in the account of a juice vendor. But soon he realised that he has been cheated after the cement agency denied payment and stopped delivery.
The Police has registered a case of fraud.
